1. Dissemination action: Preparation of the SOCIRES wepage
The SOCIRES webpage contains the basic informations about the project. You can find the skills of Social responsibility managers are needed in, SOCIRES project objectives, duration and partnership, informations about certification, the news about the project progress and dissemination activities. You can download the promotion material (project leaflet, promotion prezenations).
2. Subpage about the project
SIST prepared the subpage about the project at his own webpage where you can also find basic information about the project.
3. 10th Anniversary of the Slovenian institute for standardization (SIST)
SIST organized the celebration of the tenth anniversary of the Institute. In this event some very important guests from the national, europeand and the international standardization field, like Dr Bogdatn Topič, president of SIST, MSc Marjetka Strle Vidali, general director of SIST, Mr. Rob Steele, Secretary-General of the International Organization for Standardization, DDr Elisabeth Stampfl-Blaha, Austrian Standards Institute plus some others presented their visions about the past, present and future standardization, quality and also social responsibility.
4. Assembly of the Slovenian institute for standardization
The Slovenian national standardization system is directed and managed by the SIST Assembly consisting of the SIST members, who provide for the implementation of interests in the area of Slovenian national standardization, and five representatives of the Founder. The Assebmly is usually organized once or twice a year. At the Assembly in 2011 were presented the work of SIST in that year and the plans for the future. General Director of SIST, MSc Marjetka Strle Vidali presented the project SOCIRES, itsmeaning, objectives and she also emphasized the meaning of social responsibility in private and public organizations.
5. Article about SOCIRES in the Slovenian newspaper Finance
The newspaper Finance is the most important business newspaper in Slovenia which contains daily business and financial news from all over the world. More than 47.000 Slovenian readers are informed about the tips, comments and suggestions in relation to financial markets every day. Therefore SIST decided to publish an article about the project SOCIRES in this newspaper.
6. Trial training in Novo mesto, Slovenia
The first trial training was organised on 9th May 2012 in collaboration with the Chamber of Commerce of Dolenjska and Bela krajina in Novo mesto, Slovenia. SIST trained 20 participants from public and private sector. The exam was organized on 2nd June 2012. SIST disseminated this event at the website of the Chamber of Commerce of Dolenjska and Bela krajina and with invitations.

1. Participation at the 25th Anniversary issue of ISO 9001 and ISO 50001
Bureau Veritas is a global leader in Testing, Inspection and Certification (TIC), delivering high quality services to help clients meet the growing challenges of quality, safety, environmental protection and social responsibility. Every year they organize a tradicional event, which is called »The day of Quality«. The main theme in year 2012 was the 25th Anniversary issue of ISO 9001 and ISO 50001. Quality is closely related to social responsibility and several speakers at this event emphasized the importance of quality and social responsibility in ensuring the success of the company and its continuous improvement. Representatives of SIST attended this event and promoted the SOCIRES project with a SOCIRES rollup and flyers.
2. 24th Forum of Excellence and Masterfulness
Representatives of SIST promoted the SOCIRES project with a SOCIRES rollup and flyers at the event which was called the “24th Forum of Excellence and Masterfulness« which took place in Otočec, Slovenia. This special event was organized by the Faculty of organization studies and Economic Association of Dolenjska and Bela Krajina. The theme of the event was the socially responsible behavior of universal excellence and mastery. Speakers emphasized the social responsibility in different aspects like development of management system leads to the achievement of corporate social responsibility, socially responsible behavior and research excellence. It was a great honour for this event to host the president of Republic of Slovenia, Dr Danilo Türk, who also gave the lead speech. 
3. Final trial training in Novo mesto, Slovenia
Final trial training was organised on 10.,11. and 12. October 2012 in collaboration with the Chamber of Commerce of Dolenjska and Bela krajina in Novo mesto, Slovenia. SIST trained 20 participants from public and private sector. SIST disseminated this event at the website of the Chamber of Commerce of Dolenjska and Bela krajina and with invitations.
